Kendall's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Kendall's Story...
Kendall is a female, hound mix and about 3 yrs old. She is very sweet and shy. She was found starved with Kylie on New Year's of this year. She is HW+, but has been started on the slow treatment. This means you just give her her HW preventative monthly and by about a year she will be clear of hws.

***There is no reason for heartworms to keep her from getting adopted. If she gets her hw preventative monthly they will be gone probably within a year.***

The dogs are located in Iola, Texas, which is near Navasota and Bryan College Station. If you have any adoption or rescue questions please contact me by email at iolasanctuarydogs@att.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kendall, a Iola Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Iola, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Iola.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Iola already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Iola breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Iola paves the way for another one to be saved.
