Introducing Sterling!

Sterling is a long-term foster who was rescued from Cumberland County Animal Control in Fayetteville, NC. He was extremely unsocialized, emaciated, & loaded with pretty much every parasite known to mankind. He was covered in fleas & ticks as well. We found out he also was heartworm positive.

He has had a rough road but now is doing wonderful! He has gone through treatment for the Heartworms. Sterling is 1 1/2 years old, neutered, UTD on all vaccines, & is currently on flea, tick & Heartworm prevention. Sterling needs a home with either one very submissive laid-back female dog, or with no dogs at all. He does not do well with cats & due to his background, we would feel most comfortable placing him with older children who know how to interact with dogs. He is a very goofy, loving boy, he has come so far since coming into his foster’s home! He is housebroken and crate trained as well!

We are hoping to find his forever family in the Fayetteville, NC area
