Molly's Story...
Molly, Female, English Bulldog, About a 3-4 Years Old, Medium Size About 26-60lbs, Tan/Yellow/Fawn with White

Molly was found on a very busy street in Waterbury, CT. However, she was never claimed. Could it be because of her previous owner did not want to treat her very bad ear infection, which cost Rose Hope Animal Refuge $400 to treat and be examined by the veterinarian? Her ear must have hurt terribly, as Molly was kranky. Who wouldn’t be kranky with a severe ear infection? Thankfully, medical treatment has enhanced her life as she is doing much better. Molly has become very bonded with her foster-mother, Hanna. Molly is a really cute English Bulldog who loves affection. Molly loves to be patted and enjoys her new dog bed, which she can she can take with her to her new adopted home. As Spring has begun, would you like to play outdoors with Molly? Molly loves to play with dog toys. How about taking in the Spring air, listening to the birds sing, and playing with Molly with her rope dog bone toy?
Rose Hope Animal Refuge prefers a home that has experience with the English Bulldog breed and without any small children, younger than 10 years of age. Molly would love to be doted on as an only child, but would not mind sharing a home with cats. Molly will be your devoted, loyal friend for life. Also, her breed REQUIRES air conditioning. Molly also has an adoption donation fee of $450.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Waterbury English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Bulldog for sale in Waterbury, or seeking a English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Bulldog breeders who help with English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
