Here's what the humans have to say about me:
(this is a courtesy listing. Libby is not a CHEW Dog Rescue Dog. If you are interested in her, please email her owner..email is at the end of the following bio)
Hi, my name is Liberty, but my people call me Libby. I am a 2-year-old English Pointer mix with beautiful green eyes. I am such a happy puppy, always wagging my tail and smiling. I love to play and run and I particularly love to fetch balls. If you throw for me, I will run as fast as I can to get it and bring it right back to you and drop it at your feet, waiting for you to throw it again.
I was a stray on the streets as a little puppy so I eat every meal like it is my last, but my people have gotten me a special bowl to help me slow down. I bark at anyone I don’t know and sometimes people I do know, making me a great guard dog. I do warm up to strangers if my people let me know it’s OK. I am good with children and I can stay in my crate when my people are gone from the house. The problem is that my people are at work all day and I really need a family who has more time to spend with me and get me the regular, daily exercise that I need. I also need more help and training to keep from pulling on my leash during walks and surfing countertops for food.
Libby has great recall. She’s an excellent learner and has been taught sit, down wait and off. She weighs 45 lbs., has a soft short coat of fur, is a sensitive girl and a great snuggler. Libby will do best in a home where she is the only dog and she requires a fully fenced yard. Libby lives in Seattle. If you’d like more information about her, please email Sarah at sarahfu@comcast.net.
