Suki is a 7 year old Maltese who lived in a puppy mill all her life. She does well with other dogs, but is very fearful & skittish around people. Her experience with people have been negative in the past so it may take her a year or more to start acting like a normal dog. She will need someone who has had experience with puppy mill dogs and will be able to take it nice and slow with her. Due to her fearfulness no children under the age of 12 and she must have a fenced yard since she is a flight risk and won't go potty on a leash. She is not housebroken, but will use a potty pad. Be prepared to except that she may never be housebroken. She loves playing with other dogs. She has great potential and will make someone a very precious dog. She will need to be adopted to someone who has experience with puppy mill dogs. If you are interested in Suki go to our website allpawsrescue.info and fill out an application. Our adoption events are held every Saturday at the O'Fallon MO PetSmart from 10am-3pm.
All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $110 for cats and $150 for dogs.
