My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wonton, born in August of 2015, has always been a faithful friend to her good ol’ sister Moo Shu. She has always had her back from day one and teaches her to be stronger and braver everyday. She has a very calm temperament and will find herself at peace just by sitting in a chair. She does love to play with her scratching post and mouse toy. She can go from o to 100 in an instant and loves playing catching games. She is an incredibly curious cat and I often find her staring out the window at the people walking by. She loves watching the different weather patterns and is also incredibly interested by the world outside my apartment. She is a good eater but definitely does not eat as much as her sister. She does love her treats and wet food though! She loves exploring areas and really enjoys sitting underneath my dishwasher door and shower curtain. Funny and odd places; yet she finds them to be a comfort to her. She will follow me pretty much anywhere and always likes being around human contact. She falls asleep in my bed every night and definitely loves warm places. Wonton takes a little bit of time to feel people out but will definitely come around! She loves getting pet and just wants to be around people! When I leave for work and come home from work, she is always at the front of my door, ready to greet me and is waiting for me to get home. She is such an amazingly wonderful cat.

Wonton and her sister Moo Shu are very bonded so need to be adopted together.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
