Theo's Story...
Theo
Theo is a senior fella about 8 years old and 65 lbs. He was a stray that ended up at a shelter and no one came for him. It's easy to tell that someone loved him because he is really and truly one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. He will gaze in your eyes and stand or sit quietly for attention and kind words. He still has spunk and enjoys other dogs and pets and romping around in the yard. He is crate trained and learning his house manners very quickly! Theo has an unusually sound temperament and gets along beautifully in all situations that we have seen him in.
SO if you are looking for a super great companion and an easy fella, please consider Theo and fill out an online adoption application at k9newlife.org!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Theo, a Virginia Beach Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
