Bo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Bo's Story...
8/14/16: Just to clarify, Bo is not aggressive to animals he sees out and about, he will walk on a leash and is fine. He does NOT like to share his person's attention with other animals which is where the problem comes in. He can go for a walk, see other dogs out and be perfectly fine. He is not aggressive, just more dominate and needs to be an only dog IN the household. He is a real sweetheart and would make someone who wants ONE dog a wonderful companion.

7/15/16: I am shocked Bo is still here. He is such an awesome boy. Yes, he does need to be an only dog, but that is just because he wants ALL the attention. He LOVES people. Won't you consider giving this big boy a home to call his own???

3/17/16: Bo was saved from being euthanized because of his aggression toward other animals. He would get jealous if any other dogs came near "his person". He was sent to a training facility which was a huge mistake, but he is here with me now and doing well. He is an absolute LOVE! He loves people, but is also doing well with Tanner, the redbone coonhound, playing and running in the big fenced yard! He seems to be crate trained and is quiet, I have heard very little barking since he arrived a week ago. He is a very sweet boy and all the transporters fell in love with him. I'm looking for that special home for him where he can be the center of attention like he wants to be. No children under 12 at this point. He is neutered, up to date with shots, microchipped, and heartworm tested. He is 1-2 years old and around 80 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Homer German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Homer, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Homer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homer paves the way for another one to be saved.
