My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Trooper" is an adorable adult male kitty who was picked up in the Waterford Ohio area on March 12, 2016 after he was found with multiple injuries. Our Humane Officer took him directly to one of our wonderful local veterinarians, and he surely owes his life to those two guardian angels. "Trooper" spent several days at the veterinarian's hospital and was given the care and treatment he needed in order to survive. The veterinarian and her staff told us that sweet cat never stopped purring or kneading his paws even though he was obviously in pain. He was released and came to the HSOV on March 15, 2016 where he is continuing to receive extra TLC. "Trooper" has an orange-and-white short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a darling face with a pink nose and large bronze/copper eyes. We have listed him as a 'Special Needs Kitty' since he has a wire in his left jaw and various scrapes/wounds, and he is still on antibiotics. He will be required to be on a soft/wet food diet until his jaw is healed. "Trooper" is a loving, affectionate boy who craves attention. His life was surely spared for a special reason. As you might have guessed, he was named "Trooper" since he was indeed a little trooper throughout his ordeal <3 He was combo tested on March 12, 2016 and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV. "Trooper" was also neutered on March 12, 2016. The wire in his jaw was removed on April 25, 2016.
