Facts about Chui

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 1300
  • Hair: Short
Chui is part of a litter of 4 kittens that are now just over 6 months so we list them as "young". they are still very much kittens at heart. In fact these guys are extremely loving since they were rescued as very tiny kittens and bottle fed so they think people are their parents. They are total loves, good around other kittens and cats so would be a wonderful addition to your home.
Chui likes to sit in the window and watch the birds in addition to playing with her siblings. She is very sweet natured.
The person having them didn't contact us until last week about helping place them or they would have been adopted 3 months ago.
The other three siblings, Panda, her sister is also a torties, with beautiful black and orange coat, and then two orange tabby brothers, Nacho & Sunny. The foster would like them to go in pairs or at least have a young buddy to play with at their new home.
These adorable teens have no bad habits, they like the scratching toy and cat tree and of course they use the litter box.
They all are spayed/neutered, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, current on shots, dewormed and flea free.
For more information please e-mail foster contact at Thank you! They may be at our next bi-monthly Saturday adoption event from noon to 4:00pm at Petco, 32391 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA ?92675 in Plaza Del Rio Shopping Center. This is just a few minutes off Fwy 5, take the Camino Capistrano exit #81. Please visit our website at for our adoption schedule and an application.

About Southern Counties Rescue (Mission Viejo, CA)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
