found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Thinking about bringing Mindy or another wonderful Senior Springer into your family? Read why rescuing Senior Springers is a top priority for ESRA.
Ms. Mindy is a sweet, well-mannered, and gentle gem of a girl. She came into rescue when her elderly owners could no longer care for her. Mindy has adapted well from a quiet life in an apartment to a busy household with three active housemate springers. Mindy is an absolutely wonderful companion! She loves to have her head rubbed, has great house manners, is a dream on the leash, and gets along well with other dogs.
Mindy is very food motivated, which makes feeding time and practicing commands fun! She likes to keep to a schedule, and she will remind you when it is snacktime or mealtime. She has some nice cushy pads that she loves to snooze on, and she has not shown any interest in getting on furniture or beds. Occasionally Mindy will demonstrate her playful side, cheerfully bringing you a sock or joining the pack for a game of chase.
Ms. Mindy is a spry senior lady. We do think she has minor hearing and vision loss, which is to be expected at twelve years of age. Other than some typical senior fatty tumors, she is in great health.
This fine dog deserves a loving Forever Family with whom she can spend her remaining years. If you have a comfortable place in your home and your heart for our lovely Mindy, please contact her case managers at the e-mail address below.
Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.
Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Mindy.
