Lilly ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Lilly #4439 is an 11-month-old-female, Boxer mix. Lilly is a very friendly and energetic pup. She is housebroken, walks nicely on leash and knows basic commands. She is good with kids and other dogs. She hasn’t been around cats, but loves to chase squirrels. She likes to play with squeaky toys and ropes and will play tug of war when engaged in play. She is 50 pounds and full grown; she may fill out a little more. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates: www.facebook.com/lcarmd

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly ADOPTION PENDING, a Waldorf Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
