Hi my name is Levi and I am the sweetest and most handsome-ist doggy on the block! I am a 3-5 year old Catahoula mix that was rescued from the Franklin County Animal Shelter! I am shy at first but I attach very quickly to my person/people. My foster mom is the light of my life and I just want to be with her as much as possible. Though I wish we could be together 24/7 I know that isn't possible and I do okay while she is gone. I do great in my crate but do not need to be crated since I am not a puppy and am a calm baby.
My foster mama says I give the best hugs and kisses! I am gentle when I jump up and just like to lay there for a while to feel close to her. I am well behaved but am timid at times. I am dog friendly but I do not do great with dominant males. If I am challenged I will defend myself but am never the provoker. I absolutely loveeeee my foster sisters and would be ecstatic to go to a home with a playful female to trollip and play with! Once I come out of my shell I am a fun, loving and silly boy. I do well with kids but would prefer a home without small children. I have not been tested with cats but upon request my foster mom would be happy to do so!
I am heartworm positive but will be treated through FCHS at no cost to my adopter. If someone wants to take me before I am treated that is okay because FCHS will still pay for my treatment! Once I am treated I will be good as new! I am already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. If you would like more info about me please contact my foster mom at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to adopt me please go ahead and fill out an application at https://fchsnc.formstack.com/forms/dogadoptionform_
