Jack's Story...
This is Jack a 12-month-old neutered Boarder Collie/Australian Shepard mix that is search of a forever home. This wonderful boy just wants a family that is willing to spend time with him running, playing and being loved. Jack loves all people big and small and appears to get along with other dogs just fine. Cats are an unknown at this time. He is housetrained, walks well on a leash and doesnÂ’t mind riding in the car. He is current with his shots, wormed, heartworm negative and on prevention as well as being micro chipped. If you would like to have this wonderful affectionate boy visit you in your home for a couple of days, please call 469-698-8898 to make arrangements. A re-homing fee is being asked and will be used to help other rescue animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Lavon Border Collie/Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Lavon, or seeking a Border Collie/Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Lavon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lavon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lavon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lavon paves the way for another one to be saved.
