Baggins's Story...
2 year old neutered German Shepherd

BAGGINS

Baggins is a 2 year old neutered German Shepherd pup that came into rescue from a. local high kill shelter. The brown mask on his face and tail give him a very unique and dashing appearance.  Baggins is very friendly in his personality and appears to get along with other dogs! He is outgoing and loving with all people (big and small). Baggins is a dog that will be able to accompany you anywhere you go. Seeing that smile on his face will put a smile on your face too, we promise.  Baggins is ready to find a home and family he can call his own.  Baggins recently completed what is called the 90 Day Prison Program, where he lived with an inmate and learned all of his basic commands (sit, stay, shake) along with house training and crate training.  He enjoys the company of other dogs but, is not very fond of cats.  He is current with his shots, wormed, micro chipped, and on heart worm prevention.  If you would like to spend some time getting to know this handsome boy better, please call 469-698-8898 to make arrangements.  A re-homing fee is being asked and will be used to help other pups in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baggins, a Lavon German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lavon, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lavon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lavon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lavon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lavon paves the way for another one to be saved.
