This big orange kitty was hanging around a back yard in Verdun being fed by some kindly residents who, as winter approached, couldn't bear to see him outside so they asked the refuge to help find a new home for him. He must have belonged to someone at some time as he is not afraid of people and he gets along well with other cats. He is quite charming and usually walks with his tail curled over his back. He is a big cat but totally without malice and he would make a wonderful addition to a home where he would feel secure and loved. This handsome cat deserved a long and happy life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tango, a Verdun Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Verdun, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Verdun.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Verdun already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Verdun breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Verdun paves the way for another one to be saved.
