Rico is an energetic, affectionate, smart and playful terrier.  Rico loves to play with other dogs (big or small but for some reason prefers big).  Rico can be a bit lap possessive of whoever is giving them his full attention but loves all sizes and types of dogs.  Rico can get scared if confronted aggressively or handled rough and will react fearfully, so it is best that he not go into a home with small children and best that he is placed with someone experienced with terriers.   With someone who loves him and is kind to him, he is definitely your best friend and lover.  Rico loves both men and women equally.  Rico would do great in obedience training as he is smart and very quick to learn.  Rico is up to date on his vaccinations (including rabies), neutered and microchipped.  If you are interested in Rico, please email us at greendogfoundation@gmail.com or call (951) 609-0765.

About GreenDog Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit public charity that solely relies on volunteers and donors to support our efforts. With the public's support, we are able to rescue euthanasia-listed dogs from shelters all over California, bring them into a loving environment and nurture them back to health and then help them to find their forever home and family.

Our Adoption Process...

Adult dogs require a $300 adoption fee. This covers their spay or neuter, vaccinations (including Rabies), and microchipping as well as anything else that the dog may need to bring him or her to the healthiest state possible before adoption (i.e. dental cleaning, tumor removal, rounds of antibiotics, etc.)
