Facts about Troy

  • Breed: Maltese Mix
  • Color: White
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 9788174

Troy is a sometimes sleepy senior but who is also playful, cheerful and good with teens.  Troy prefers company (either dog or human), so he would be best in a home where company is there for him all day.  Troy loves a warm lap and will playfully bark when he is seeking your attention.  Troy is currently sleeping in bed with his foster daddy and prefers that over crating.  Troy would do best with someone patient and with older children only as he is a bit frail under all that hair.  Troy has a slight luxating patella but it is not severe enough to warrant surgery, but he would do better in a single level home than multi-level.  Troy is up to date on all of his vaccinations (including rabies), microchipped and neutered.  If you are interested in Troy, please email us at greendogfoundation@gmail.com or call us at (951) 609-0765.

About GreenDog Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit public charity that solely relies on volunteers and donors to support our efforts. With the public's support, we are able to rescue euthanasia-listed dogs from shelters all over California, bring them into a loving environment and nurture them back to health and then help them to find their forever home and family.

Our Adoption Process...

Adult dogs require a $300 adoption fee. This covers their spay or neuter, vaccinations (including Rabies), and microchipping as well as anything else that the dog may need to bring him or her to the healthiest state possible before adoption (i.e. dental cleaning, tumor removal, rounds of antibiotics, etc.)
