Felix's Story...
Well hello, my name is Felix! I am here at LCHS with my sister Ki Ki! I am a big boy looking to plop-down on a couch and watch some movies with you! I have a big personality to match my size, I am 17# of purrfect cat! I would love to bird-watch, have a good chat and stretch out across the bed with you! If you are looking to make a double addition, please consider my housemate Ki Ki too! We make a great pair! I am current on my vaccinations, neutered, SNAP Feline Triple tested- Negative x3 and micro-chipped! I look forward to meeting you! Meow!

All of our kittens and cats have at least one feline booster, a de-worming, a flea treatment, and have tested negative for feline leukemia, FIV and heartworm. All of our cats and kittens are also microchipped prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix, a New Castle Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New Castle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in New Castle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Castle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Castle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Castle paves the way for another one to be saved.
