Adoption fee is $150, this dog is approx. 1.5-2.5 yrs old and 12.8 pounds
This Chihuahua is one of group of 14 that a family could no longer keep. Yeap that's right 14 in one home. They had a caring family and are quite social for the situation they came out of but the family lost their home and could not keep them any longer. This was just a simple case of failure to spay and neuter and not a breeding/hoarding situation. Due to their limited exposure in life they do need a little time to adjust to new spaces, some are more outgoing then others. Most do not have leash skills. They where use to routine trips outside to potty, so using crate training and routine they should potty train fine if they are not already. They get along fine with the other dogs they have met here at the rescue. They would not be ideal for really small kids that want a doggie to carry around but kids over 7-8 yrs old they should do fine with if treated properly.
If you want to adopt this cutie just fill out the adoption questionnaire we are still getting to know them all and they are bound to act a little different once they are separated from one another. Also dogs that come from a big family group do better when adopted into a home with others dogs. They can adjust as a only pet but will need more time to handle the change. Anyone interested in more than one chihuahua from this family group the adoption fee would be reduced for a pair of friends to stay together
The adoption fee is $150.This dog has had its age appropriate Vaccinations brought up to date with Rabies shot (4 m & older), heartworm tested (4 m & older) and/or started on prevention, basic dewormer, spayed or neutered and microchipped by 24Petwatch with free registration , and also comes with 30 days of free 24Petwatch Pet Insurance .
