My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Denver and Ladonna were rescued, along with many other puppies, from a dog broker by another rescue. The other rescue had all their ducks in a row when a couple of foster homes backed out on their commitment to foster the babies. Puppies are a lot of work! The other rescue reached out to us to ask for assistance and we were happy to help. Rescue people were told by the broker that Ladonna and Denver were shih tzu mix pups but we don't think so. I really believe that they are yorkie mix pups. Anyhow, they were born on November 26, 2015 so are 16 weeks as of this writing. I think that they will each be between 10 and 12 pounds full grown. I don't think that they will have the type of coat that needs to be groomed but rather be a 'scruffy' dog. They are very cute and very smart. We think that they will be terrific pets for some lucky people. They do NOT need to be adopted together. Denver is neutered, up to date on all shots, on heartworm/flea medication, is microchipped and well wormed. His adoption fee is $375 with all first year vet work done.
