Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is cute China. This big friendly 4 year old American Bulldog mix was surrendered to Friendship with her 8 lb. buddy Bella and another bigger dog. The family was having a change in lifestyle and could no longer care for the dogs. They didn't provide any info on them, but they have all been well behaved guests since their arrival. China has a pleasant personality and is people and dog friendly. She walks well on a leash, once she expends a little energy always being kenneled at the shelter. China is a mild mannered gal that just wants to get back into a loving home. How about yours? She'd fit right in with just about any family. As soon as she returns from her training.
On March 24, 2016, China was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend approximately 12 weeks there. Prison Dogs cannot be visited during their training. All dogs return on an individual basis.
If you are interested in adopting this prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. You can find an app at friendshipapl.org on the Dogs and Puppies page. Hand deliver the adoption application to Friendship or call if you live a distance away to see if you can fax one in. Please DO NOT email the app.
If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321. Or email at adoptions@friendshipapl.org.
