Noel's Story...
Hi hoomans! My name is Noel, and although my story starts sad, I want everyone to know what a HAPPY girl i am and have remained through my whole ordeal. My owners brought me to the county shelter a week before Christmas. They said they were allergic to me. That part was sad because I loved them. But what was even sadder was I spent 2 whole months living in a cage at the shelter wondering if my family was coming back for me, or if anybody would give me a new home. I have been told I am beautiful, and I have been told I have an adorable little chirp. But still i sat there in a cage, week after week. Then I heard someone say something about me being on a list. They were frowning when they said it, so I knew it wasn't a good list. But my luck finally changed when a nice lady with St. Francis saw my picture and just knew she had to come save me! I am doing my kitty happy dance right now just to be out of that cage! My foster mommy says I am one sweet and special girl, and whoever adopts me will be extremely lucky! I hope to meet my real forever family soon. Until then, I will be enjoying my freedom and chirping my cute song to whoever will listen! I need to be on a prescription urinary diet but other than that I am a normal kitty. Meow for now! Noel

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noel, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
