Daphne's Story...
Daphne was saved from a small city pound that was beyond full. She was actually in a run with 3 other dogs as they had no where else to put them all. There was not much interest in Daphne because she had hardly any hair on her face when we first got her down to demodex mange. We started treating her for the mange, gave her a good grain free food and fish oil and she looks great today. The last picture is of her when she was at the pound, the first 3 are her today. We think she is between 6 to 8 months old. She is about 30lbs so will not get much bigger. She loves everything and everyone she sees, she is very full of life. We always love to take dogs on like her to see how beautiful they are going to end up and she really is that. She has the most amazing and beautiful blue eyes. She is fixed, current on all shots, micro chipped and on monthly prevention. She will snuggle with you at night if you let her. She is almost house trained, she will have a rare accident. She is just waiting for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Plainfield Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
