Chester's Story...
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.

Chester is a super cute 9 month old puppy who is only 6 pounds and probably won’t get much bigger. He was in a loving home with an elderly owner and four other little cuties until his owner became too ill to keep her dogs.

Chester is a Chihuahua mix but looks and acts very much like a Toy Fox Terrier mix also. He could have a little Doxi in him or maybe some Min Pin, too. He has very soft fur. Chester has darling big ears and one is always alert while the other one can be up or down, depending on his mood. He always looks like he is smiling.

He has loads of personality and is a fun little puppy. He is so smart and attentive. We think he could learn anything you want to teach him.

He is very sweet, happy and loving. He is friendly to strangers (maybe just a tiny bit timid right at first) and bonds extremely quickly. Chester is a cuddle bug and loves to be touched all over and to be close enough to you to give you lots of kisses. He adores attention. He would love to be your little shadow.

He is a polite and submissive boy and he loves to sit for treats and make you happy. Of course, he will not sit for long since there is so much other fun stuff to do!

This energetic tyke is good on the leash and really enjoys walks, though he has not had much experience away from home. He has the most adorable bouncy run.

Chester has a playful nature and gets along great with all the other little dogs he came with. He seems to be a pretty easy going boy and just wants to enjoy life to the fullest. He is used to living with other dogs but should be fine as an only pup also.

Charming Chester is a real gem of a puppy and should fit in well in most any household though he might be too tiny for a home with rough little kids. A gentler household would be safer for him.

Even though he came from a house with other dogs, he might really enjoy being an only dog so he can get all of the attention he craves.

Chester is already housetrained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a High Point Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier for sale in High Point, or seeking a Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier puppy from a breeder in High Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in High Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a High Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in High Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
