Charming's Story...
Charming (aka Charms) is a darling girl. She came to us from a dog pound at least 10 lbs underweight with a lot of hair missing from flea infestations. She is 37 lbs but should be about 50 lbs and she is 2 to 3 years old. She is a delightful little girl who is people and dog friendly. She has now been given full vet care and is on the road to gaining weight and getting her hair back. Adoption fee 125.00 - UPDATE 4/28: Charms has been living with a dog trainer learning all about good doggie socialization and house manners. She is doing terrific. She is housebroken, crate trained and a very loving girl. She would do best with a less dominant dog as a playmate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charming, a Avon Pointer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Avon, or seeking a Pointer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Pointer/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
