A Kitten Boy: HERO's Story...
Lifeline for Pets presents for adoption: HERO & ECHO. They are kitten tabby siblings. Can't get much cuter than these two! Echo is the beautiful little girl. Hero, the boy, is adorable, too, but both back legs are deformed, due to a birth defect. He gets around fairly well, so far, and uses the litter box. We are in the process of determining the best way to help him. In the meantime, we would love to get both of them adopted. Together, they qualify for our Twofer Discount. Update on these sweet babies: Echo, left, is the female, with beautiful silvery markings. She loves to zoom around! Hero is her brother. He’s an adorable tabby, who was born with deformed back legs, but that doesn’t stop him from scooting around to keep up with his sister! Consultation with our vet resulted in no surgery needed at the present time, if at all. Adopting an “easy” special needs cat would be a true act of compassion for a sweet soul who would otherwise likely spend the rest of his life in our facility. Why Adoption is a Great Option

A Kitten Boy: HERO, a Monrovia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Monrovia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Monrovia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monrovia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monrovia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monrovia paves the way for another one to be saved.
