You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please contact Ruth (snapshotrem@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and we have no paid staff.  If you have questions concerning a specific dog,  PLEASE fill out an application and the foster parent will be in touch.  We will not arrange any home visits with any of our dogs until your application is processed.  Please understand our foster parents are precious to our 2nd Chance family; without them we cannot function, so we do our best to not burden them with multiple appointments.  Our foster parents will choose their top 3 applications and arrange home visits with these applicants.  The adopter will be chosen at that time.  The process can take anywhere from a week to a month.  We want to make sure our little furry ones are placed in their "forever home" and never have to go through a rehoming again!

So here is Annabelle's say story...She was found wondering the streets.  Her front legs severley burned. Can you imagine you imagine the pain the sweet girl has had to endure?!!!  She had open wounds and you could see right to the bone:((  She was picked up and taken to a shelter who did the best they could do but they did have the fund nor the equipment to take care of her, and time was running out for her since she was so full of infection.  Thank goodness that the wheels started to turn and with the help of another shelter they sprang into action to get her hospitalized and the proper treatment she desperatily needed.  Once she was stable she we were able to make the trip to WV. to pick up our sweet Annabelle.  Her journey still continues.  After beating a real bad case of kennel cough and infection, she is now down to 2x a week for laser treatments for her legs, which look amazing compared to what they were.

Now this Sweet little girl is just spoiled.  She is so loved at Palmyra Animal Clinic where she goes for her treatments.  She is certainly the staff favorite and she is so happy to see them to giving kisses to all,  but her love is Dr. Clemens.

Please, human were so cruel to Annabelle yet she loves all,  she still needs Angles on her side condiser adopting of even donating towards
her medical bills

Please understand we do not adopt out to families with children under the age of 5.  We do not adopt to renters.  Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.

A dog is a lifetime commitment.  The dogs in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners :(   We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the dog is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs.  Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!

About 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is a foster network. Our goal is to find our precious little ones their "forever families" where they will live out the rest of their lives. Your dog is a part of your family and should be treated as such. You don't give away your children and neither should your loyal pet be dispensable!
All our dogs must be altered before adoption. Spay/Neuter is the only way to stop the senseless overpopulation we have now. Our hope is one day with education we will live in a society where shelters are not a necessity and no animal will die just for lack of space!
