My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abby is a sweet loveable, lively and fun pocket pittie...she is about 45 pounds. She loves to cuddle, go for walks, car rides and be petted. She is crate trained, house broken, quiet but will talk to you if you talk to her. Very sweet and settled and so much more adorable on person. She is about one year old, and just a happy girl. Abby was rescued from a very high kill shelter in Texas and literally pulled from the euthanasia room. She had little to no socialization skills, and was fearful of everything. She has come a long long way to the sweet girl she is now and we want a loving, indoor, forever home for her where she will be a family member for the rest of her life.
Abby has a fear of men in general. For this reason, we prefer she go to an active, female only home, unless the male has infinite patience with her and lets her accept you on her terms. She is extremely unpredictable around men. She does fine with children, but is so high energy, her adoptive home should only have older children, 12 years old and older.
Abby needs lots of exercise and walks. You MUST have a secure, privacy fenced back yard to adopt her. She does like to find ways to escape.
At this time, we feel she'd be happiest as the only pet in your family. She has a tendency to show treat and toy possession issues .She has a minimal adoption fee.
Adoption app, vet and professional ref, home check all necessary to adopt one of our rescue dogs.
Abby is to always and forever be an indoor and loved family member.
