Stephanie's Story...

We've got a 'full house' of puppies! Sisters DJ, Stephanie, Michelle and brother Tanner are cattle dog and labrador mix puppies. They were born on January 3. They take after their dad in the looks department (mom was a gorgeous speckled white and brown), but they get their smarts and outgoing personalities from mom. All puppies are well on their way with house training and crate training. They all picked up sit extremely quickly. They love toys, especially squeaky balls. They have all had age-appropriate vaccinations.

Stephanie is super smart and usually the first to learn new things. She's not afraid to venture out, but is more reserved than her feisty siblings.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stephanie, a St. Louis Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
