Stella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Stella's Story...
*Stella is currently living in Houston in an amazing foster family. She is available for local or out-of-town adoption. Stella’s adoption fee is $300 and an Austin adopter would need to drive to Houston to pick her up.*

This sweet girl, Stella, is 1.5-2 years old. She is a Labrador/Am Staff mix and the best dog ever. Stella was in a small country shelter facing euthanasia when a wonderful volunteer found her and rescued her. She was skinny and afraid, but was so happy to see her rescue angel and jumped right in the car.

Stella is a very loving and playful girl. She loves all dogs and people. She even likes kids! She is housetrained and doesn’t even have to stay in a crate at her fosters house. She loves to go for a good walk and would make a wonderful jogging or hiking partner. She rides great in the car, matter of fact she rode shotgun on her Freedom Ride!

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out the adoption application on our website, www.reggiesfriends.org. Please hover over the Adoptables tab and the application link will appear. If you would like to ask their foster mom any specific questions, please email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Austin Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
