Lilly's Story...
Sweet Lilly is approximately 18 months old and is looking for the perfect forever home. Due to her long body and low rider status, we think she is likely a mix of Corgi - and maybe some Shepherd? She is about 30 pounds and is housebroken and crate trained. Lilly currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and is doing well. She loves to play ball in the yard and loves attention. She walks well on a leash and she does well with other dogs while walking, playing at a dog park or goofing off with a friend in the back yard. She is no slouch on the couch either and snuggles in well for a nap or a TV binge watch. Her medical history is unknown, so TMR has gotten her vetted, vaccinated and spayed so that she can be all ready to move in with a family that will be hers forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Chalfont Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Chalfont, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Chalfont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chalfont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chalfont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chalfont paves the way for another one to be saved.
