Brownie is a fabulous, 10 yrs. young, Cocker Spaniel. He was surrendered to a local, New Jersey shelter because his family was moving and could not take him. Friends of Linden Animal Shelter, Linden, New Jersey stepped up to save him. We are still learning about Brownie but what we see so far is a wonderful, happy, affectionate, gentle boy. He is good with toys, treats and food and just wants to please you. Won't you open your heart and home to this handsome senior guy? He will be groomed shortly so stay tuned for the "before and after" pics. Please apply to foster or adopt Brownie at: folas.org and email: folasinfo@gmail.com for a meet and greet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BROWNIE, a Linden Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Linden, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Linden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Linden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Linden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Linden paves the way for another one to be saved.
