Cash's Story...
Cash and his littermates came to us after they were found living in absolutely awful conditions. We were unable to locate the mom and the pups were not yet weaned so we are thankful that they were found when they were. The puppies entered our PADDLE Program (Prisoners And Dogs Developing Life Experience) where they were bottle fed and trained by trustees. Each pup lives with a female trustee 24/7 and are extremely well socialized. They are puppy pad trained and have been working on basic manners. The pups are located in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add one of these pups to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cash, a Southington Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Southington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
