found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
One of the shelter volunteers reached out to Diamond Dog rescue and said she was a good girl and asked if we had room for her and her kennel mate before it was too late. Of course we made room! Her kennel mate has been adopted but she is still looking for her forever home.
Currently Tara is in a foster home in NH. She is living with another canine, two human siblings and a cat. The love and warmth of a family has brought out the best in her! She has done well in tests with other dogs, with cats and with people, small and big.
She has a good energy level, but once she's had play and walk time she settles in very quickly and just loves snuggling on the couch with the kids or her canine foster brother. Because she loves play time, she is best suited to a family with older children vs. babies. Playing can be tough business.
She is housebroken with only an occasional accident if left long. She is fairly good on a leash and getting better all the time. She knows some commands. Loves snuggling time with the kids and is one smart cookie.
She is around a year old, 38lbs, UTD on all vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
