Chloe's Story...
Chloe is an absolutely beautiful pure bloodhound with the papers and pedigree to back her up!!!! She came to us as a "young" three year old from her owner who was approaching the end of her battle with cancer. I say "young" because every experience Chloe has encountered since we have had the joy of her company seems new and exciting to her! I would put her mental age closer to one!

Chloe is the hit of the dog park and anywhere she goes. For one thing, she embodies happiness! And what a love bug. She will find anyone's feet to sit on and throw her head back for neck rubs, then flop down for a belly addition! She loves EVERYONE.....kids, women, men (especially), dogs, cats. She is doggie door trained and had only one accident upon arrival. She is good on the leash and hikes with us off lead.

Although 99.9% of the time Chloe is nothing but love, she did come to us with theft aggression and we have been working on that. (she is only aggressive over things she steals). We have found alternative methods of dealing with this that her new family will have to be committed to in order to continue her positive progress in this area. She will need an experienced dog family who will give her the structure she craves and has been missing in her life. In return she promises to brighten every moment of your day in her presence and cover you with 1000 very soft little kisses! She will do best with a four legged friend or two to keep her company and keep her active. Daily walks or regular trips to the dog park are a must to keep her focused and happy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Phoenix Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
