We ARE NOT a shelter, so visiting puppies is not a possibility. All dogs are fostered in private foster homes throughout the area in which we operate (IL, IN, MO, & WI).

Puppies, puppies, and more puppies!
When a Great Dane mix female came to the Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue, we were unaware of her pregnancy. Approximately one month later (February 10th), she gave birth to eight puppies! Yes, that’s 8 puppies!
They all each have 10 front toe nails and 10 rear toe nails. They are also healthy, happy, active, playful and oh-so-cute puppies!

We have no idea who the father(s) was/were, much less type of breed(s). Nonetheless, the puppies all are adorable, fluffy and have nice colorings.
The names and colorings of each puppies, based on birth order ——
Puppy #1 - (Name undecided) Merle female with white muzzle and belly
Puppy #2 - (Name undecided) Merle male with split face
Puppy #3 - (Name undecided) Merle male with a white belly
Puppy #4 - Ghirardelli (aka “Della”) - Merle female with white front paws
Puppy #5 - Bailey - Merle female who is the runt of the litter
Puppy #6 - (Name undecided) Fawn male with white face and belly
Puppy #7 - Dixie - Fawn female
Puppy #8 - Rome Blue-fawn male
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE PUPPIES!
Effective March 15, 2016 ——
*Applications will be accepted for a period of two weeks from applicants that currently reside in our area of operation (IL, IN, MO, and WI).
*Applications received after the cut off date will not be considered for a puppy, but can be processed and considered for other dogs that are in the rescue.
*Applications are NOT first come, first served. We will match puppies with homes that we feel best suit the puppy's personality and needs as suggested by the foster home. For example: no dogs/needs another dog, no kids/good with kids, etc.
*Puppies will be matched with their families at approximately 12 weeks of age and can go home at approximately 17 weeks of age - once they are current on vaccinations and spayed/neutered.
ESTIMATED ADOPTION DATE: MAY 30, 2016.
