Franklin's Story...
I am Franklin. My foster mom says I am a Dorkie (Dachshund/yorki mix) I am cute and smart, love to play and wrestle with my foster dog sisters and brothers. The kids at the house here are so fun to play with, I am real good at fetching. I am potty trained, I sleep in a crate at night and stay in a crate when no one is home to keep me safe. I love to ride in the car and go somewhere fun to visit. I need a fenced in yard to play in and I can not stay home all day alone while you are at work for 6-9 hours. I would love a home with a doggy friend to play with. I am only 6 pounds right now and 5 month old, so I am going to be a small boy. No children under 8 yrs old, and he can not be left alone outside. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franklin, a Chattanooga Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
