Izzy's Story...
Izzy ia a 9-11 year old Beagle who came to us from a shelter in NC. She weighs about 30 pounds. Izzy is a sweet, friendly girl who loves other dogs, cats, and children of all ages. She is crate trained and housebroken, but needs to be let out more frequently because of her age. Her foster mom says that she is a wonderful girl who will make a great companion for any family. Please give Izzy a loving home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy, a Freeport Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
