Anakin's Story...
Anakin is an 8 month old ball of fun and is a great size at 35 lbs. You will never see this adorable boy without a smile on his face. He loves to run and play with toys and he loves to play fetch! He loves playing with friends but can also entertain himself. He is full of energy so he would like a forever home who is very active and a fenced yard would be best. He really wants to play with the kitties but they are a little scared because he is bigger than them. He is a very curious puppy and doesn't want to miss out on any fun. He is still learning his boundaries but he is potty trained, crate trained, and doesn't mark!!

Anakin is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, current on Trifexis, and dewormed. He is located near Huntsville, AL but he is available for adoption in your area! You can fill out an application here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. Once received, Anakin's foster mom will email you and answer all of your questions!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anakin, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
