My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THE FIRST STEP IN THE PROCESS IS SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION EMBEDDED IN THE LISTING DESCRIPTION IF YOU READ THROUGH. WE DO NOT ACCEPT ADOPT-A-PET APPLICATIONS. WE CANNOT ANSWER EMAILS ASKING ABOUT A DOG'S AVAILABILITY. IF IT IS LISTED WITHOUT THE WORD "PENDING" IT MEANS IT IS AVAILABLE.
Check out ALL of our listings at this link!!

Scrat or, as foster dad calls him, "Shadow", is a very quiet dog who loves to cuddle. At a mere 8 pounds, you practically don't even notice him! It's hard to believe that this sweet, gentle boy lived for 5+ years in a home with a loose cannon: he and his housemates were being lined up by the crazy owner who was about to shoot them all. Thank goodness we got them. Sudden movement and loud noises still make him a bit skittish sometimes, especially when the person is standing up, so we are looking for a loving nurturing home where all he'll ever get is kindness for the rest of his life.

Scrat's not all warm and fuzzy -- he really enjoys playing tug-o-war with his Chihuahua-mix foster brother! He'll even bark at the ducks at his foster home to try to get them to lay with him!! But when a human appears that wants to give him some attention, then Game Off!! He is the epitome of a lap dog and has no issue spending countless hours on the warmest available lap. He's been great with the kids in the home and he is a very faithful dog who will be your shadow 24/7 if you let him.

We think Scrat is between 5 - 8 years old, he weighs about 8 pounds and he's a very healthy boy. If you have a warm spot in your heart and lap for this little lover boy, please visit www.pinkshelter.org for more information about the adoption process or click here for our online application. Full vetting. microchip and neuter included in his $300 adoption fee. Transport fee is additional $150. IF YOU HAVE AOL or YAHOO PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FILE FOR OUR RESPONSE
