Hugo's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Hugo's Story...
Hugo is one of 7 puppies, born on 1/14/16, and was surrendered with his mother and siblings to a shelter as the owner did not want the mother and her pups. The shelter staff begged our rescue to take this litter so they could all stay together. He has lived happily with his mother, brothers and sister in a foster home with lots of loving care. He has all of the wonderful puppy attributes, loving yet playful, playing with his siblings, and napping next to them in soft dog bed. His mother is a Chihuahua and the father may be a Maltese as so many of the pups are white. He has a soft, straight coat of hair that is tan and white in color. Hugo is the smallest of the puppies and currently weighs 2 lbs 5 oz. at 2 ½ months so his adult weight may be 7-8 lbs. Hugo is very healthy puppy and will make a wonderful companion pet.

You can meet Hugo this SATURDAY, APRIL 2nd at PETSMART LA JOLLA VILLAGE SQUARE, 8657 Villa La Jolla Dr., La Jolla, CA 92037 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hugo, a San Diego Chihuahua/Maltese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Maltese for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua/Maltese puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Maltese breeders who help with Chihuahua/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
