Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bacall is just about ready for her one year anniversary here at the rescue. I can't believe it's been that long. She has changed so much yet stayed gentle and sweet. What I want most for Bacall is for her to be able to be proud again, to hold her head high and know that she is important and loved and precious. She's getting there. It's been difficult for her. Bacall lived her first 5-6 months in a kennel and absolutely refused to come out unless forced. Then she moved under my desk. That's been her safe place ever since. She now takes treats and not just from me. It's so good to see her take a treat from a stranger, so good to see her wonder what is going on around her. She is curious again. She is able to face her world.
Please, someone wonderful give Bacall a chance. She will be a lot of work. But she will also steal your heart and you will never be the same. She does that. She looks at you with those big eyes and you just want to love her and keep her safe forever. If you can do that, please complete the adoption application for Bacall. She is a 6 year old Neopolitan Mastiff.
