Cheerio's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cheerio's Story...
Cheerio and her 7 puppies were turned into our rescue after their owner died. Cheerio gets along with all dogs and has an amazing personality. She was just weening her puppies when our rescue took in 6 orphan puppies who were only about 3 1/2 weeks old. Cheerio became a surrogate mother to the orphans and began nursing them.

Cheerio always seems to have a smile on her face. She is looking for a great home! She needs a home with at least one other dog. She would not do well as an "only dog" in the family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheerio, a Las Cruces Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Las Cruces, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Las Cruces.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Cruces already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Cruces breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Cruces paves the way for another one to be saved.
