My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Milo. The world’s sweetest Pug! Milo, otherwise known as "Puggy", or "Sir Puggenstein," is believed to be about 10 years old and was surrendered to the rescue after a Good Samaritan found him, extremely emaciated, lost and roaming the streets. Milo has not had the best life prior to being... rescued, but he doesn’t let that stop him from loving the “good life” now. Milo is fostered with other dogs, and cats and does well with them both. He is a huge cuddle bug and has no problem calling it a lazy day and not getting out of bed all day. He also loves going for walks with his foster siblings and has no problem keeping up on a good adventure. Although his favorite might be being pulled in the wagon! He enjoys car rides, going to new places, and meeting new people. Like most Pugs, Milo is prone to some health issues and will need a patient, kind, and loving home to spoil him for the rest of his days. Our vets believe that Milo had some kind of injury to his neck, prior to being rescued, which has caused him a neurological problem, causing him to walk goofy, as well as incontinence when it comes to his bowel movements. Recently he was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, however our vet believes once it's 100% under control, he will gain continence back. This is very similar to IBS in a person and is extremely manageable and fairly inexpensive. Some people might read his story and think he's too much work, but the love and loyalty this little guy has to offer is well worth the "work." Everyone who meets him just falls in love with him. Milo is really hoping for a forever home, could that be you?
