Winny's Story...
Say hello to Winny! This petite house panther is looking for her forever family. She has the softest, shiniest coat and shows it off as she lays in the sun (her favorite pastime!). She can hear a can of wet food opening from a mile away, and that’s all it takes for her to be your best friend.

She is a sweet cuddlebug who would thrive in a quiet home. Winny gets along perfectly with other kitties but is a bit shy around dogs. She loves people and is a great lap kitty but is easily startled and would be best in an environment without young children.

Winny has been waiting for her forever home for a long time. She gets overlooked at adoption events because she tends to be nervous outside of her foster home where she feels comfortable. Will you give her a chance today?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winny, a Santa Ana Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Santa Ana, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Santa Ana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Ana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Ana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Ana paves the way for another one to be saved.
