Bruno's Story...
Bruno is a playful energetic young Italian Greyhoud puppy who is only 8 months old. He was turned in by his owners becuase they were having difficulty with housetraining so he is working on getting on a schedule and taking after the other dogs. He gets along with the other IGs at his foster home well and he already visited another IG owning home where he played and played with their dog until he couldn't keep his eyes open (picture was taken just after that playtime). His foster mom says that Bruno is a GREAT dog and will be snatched up by a home in no time. Bruno is already fixed and up-to-date on his shots so he just needs the right person to come along and adopt him. Bruno is being fostered in Omaha, NE. Local adoptions are preferred.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruno, a Lincoln Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
