Cody's Story...
Cody is a 4 month old male Italian Greyhound that has been my foster baby for one day. He is white with black spots. Cody is a typical baby, he loves to play and cuddle. He has adapted well to my four IG's but feels more secure with people. He loves my 17 year old. Cody is current with his shots and 'well baby' visits. He is scheduled for neutering. Cody is not potty-trained yet, we are working on a routine so he understands the concept. We take Cody out every hour with our IG's and let them show him what is expected; he seems to be a quick learner. He is also learning about crate-training. He slept in his crate last night and cried less than a minute before he was sound asleep, he was pretty tuckered out from spending a portion of his day playing at the Lincoln IG playday. Cody did a great job being a part of the gang at the playday. He will make someone who knows how to train IG pups a wonderful pal. He is a sweetie. Cody is located near Lincoln, NE. Local adoptions preferred.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Lincoln Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
