My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Versace (ver-saw-che) is approximately 5-6 years old and is black and white.  He weighs about 10-12lbs and is of average height.  Versace is the most friendly, affectionate and loving Italian Greyhound. He is an active puppy, but once he hits your lap, he LOVES to snuggle and fall asleep while getting his ears stroked.   When you bend over to greet him or get on the floor with him, he will put his paws on your shoulders and cuddle your neck.  Versace enjoys the company of other Italian Greyhounds, but they will need to be prepared to play.  He loves to run and sprint, so a fenced in backyard is a necessity.    Versace rarely barks.  He has no problem walking on a leash, but staying in a kennel is something that will need to be worked on.  He shouldn't live in an apartment, because he has separation anxiety and barks in his kennel. (He did better sharing a crate with another IG). Versace would be a fantastic 'only child' dog or would love the company of other IG's--he does need lots of affection and attention--but he will give it back to you tenfold!!  Versace is a wonderful dog that will make someone very happy!  He has a huge grin that he will show all of his teeth to you becasuse he is so happy.  Versache is being fostered in Omaha, Nebraska in the Eastern part of the state.  Local adoptions are preferred.April 19, 2024, 12:17 am
