Obie's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Obie's Story...
Obie is a very busy little puppy. He is around 8 months of age, and was purchased at a pet store in Omaha. His family relinquished him to rescue due to allergies to him, but had a tough time letting him go. He is around 12 lbs currently, and likely will get to around 14-15 lbs estimated.

This little guy is VERY friendly, and VERY playful. He loves to get attention, jump, play, run, chase, etc. He is always on the move. He doesn't bark much, only when he is excited. Obie loves to play with all toys, and does a pretty good job keeping himself entertained. He likes to torment the other dogs, and get them to play with him. And he is one of the first to greet you when coming home. He has learned sit, go potty, come and off (to get his front paws off of counters, people, etc.) commands. He walks well on a leash and is a quick learner.

Obie is doing very well with his housetraining, he goes to the door to signal he needs to go out. He occasionally has an accident, usually because I did not see him go to the door. He can go for 6 hours maximum in his kennel without having an accident. Obie has been neutered, and is up-to-date on shots. He also comes with his breeder paperwork. Obie is being fostered in Lincoln, NE.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Obie, a Lincoln Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
